top team was Gregg Manchester (left) and Kirby Peterson (right) Rick Gipson
(center) presented the awards. They brought in 3 coyotes. |
John
Evers Jr. and John Evers killed the largest coyote, and placed 2nd in the
open class team. John Sr. killed two coyotes and by weight won
high over all honors. |
Pat
Johnson was one of 2 singles that entered and the only one to complete the
hunt. He opted to shoot as a single so he could bring his daughter
along. |
The
Top Junior Team consisted of Brandon Jennings and Zach Vicker. They
killed two coyotes in super tough conditions. |
Josh
Adams and Trevor Larson were the second place team in the Junior class. |
Keegan
Hemphill hunted hard in tough conditions and handled himself on stand
superbly and won the Jr. Singles class. |
Jimmy
Nasados was the Youth State Champion. He hunted hard in less than
desirable conditions. |
Last
but not least, Jason LeMarr got the farthest from home award. He killed
his first coyote west of the Mississippi on the hunt. |
